More of August

Josh went on an overnighter hunting trip for deer. His pack was huge. We put it on Bentley and she fell right over.
I took Bentley on a mommy daughter date before she started school. We got lunch, manicures and pedicures and went shoe shopping. Bentley was in pure heaven. Painting nails is one of her favorite things to do.

Bentley started gymnastics and she's absolutely loving it!!

Bentley started Kindergarten. I thought she looked adorable on her first day. Her teacher is Mrs. Ashworth and her best friend, Marissa Sorensen is in her class. She couldn't be happier to start at the big school. She's such a good kid and loves to learn and be busy!

She is definitely one of the tall kids in her class. I was the same way growing up. Always the tallest in the class! She's sure cute!!

We played the candybar game for Beehives one night. Bentley got to play too and she was pretty excited about it.
Bentley is my little helper. She does such a good job helping and doesn't even complain. We juiced a bunch of bottles of tomato juice. She definitely helped the process go faster!

She lost her first tooth and was so excited about it. The tooth fairy came and left her $5 under her pillow. She couldn't wait to look in the morning.
We enjoyed one of the last few nights of warm weather with some friends up the canyon. We had a fire and roasted marshmallows. The kids love being in the outdoors.
This little girl is such a cheeser. She's so happy all the time and loves to be outside and doing anything that her sister is doing.
Bentley enjoyed a daddy daughter date going on the dove hunt together. They didn't get any doves, but they had fun being out in nature together.

For a beehive activity I did a haircare night at my house. I taught the girls how to take care of their hair, then I showed them some fun and easy hairstyles. We also made some cute knotted headbands. It was a successful night and the girls had a ton of fun.

We went up the canyon one evening to let the girls fish and we had a picnic with KFC.
