Before pics of baby's room

This room was very boring before, white walls, doors, and trim.

W have been super busy getting ready for our baby to come! I think we're pretty much there. We have 6 days until my due date and we're really hoping I don't go over! As of last week I am dialated to a 1 and 80% effaced. I go to the doctor Wednesday, so hopefully my body has made more progress. We went to a pre-natal class yesterday at the hospital. It was very good for both of us to go to, and I'm feeling a little better about things now and not so nervous! I decided to post some of the pics of our baby's room! Josh did baton board on the walls and we painted, it was kind of a lot of work, but I'm really happy with how it turned out! I am so lucky to have a husband that can do stuff like this to our house!

Christmas

We had a really good Christmas this year! We went over to the Baldwin's Christmas Eve and stayed the night! We ate lots of good food, watched movies and played games. In the morning we got up about 6 and opened presents. Melissa and Gabe came over later and my dad made a big breakfast for all of us! My brother and sister got a wii, which me and Josh had never played before. We had a blast and were both sore the next day!

Josh with all his presents! He got a bunch of dog training stuff for his hunting dogs, which he was so excited about!

I got a steam mop, scrapbooking stuff and lots of other fun things. Josh and I got a glider and dresser for our babies room from his mom and my parents!

This was a funny gift I got Josh! He says he won't carry my diaper bag around, because it's too girly, which is green and brown and not girly at all. So I bought him his own diaper bag from cabelas and filled it with some daddy survival items. In it I put a mask, goggles, ear plugs, gloves, a baby bottle with some candy in it, and a few other fun things! He thought it was pretty funny.

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving we went to Josh's mom's house in Littleton, Colorado. We had a really good time being with family. We were there 5 days. Josh made the Thanksgiving turkey in his new turkey fryer. I was a little nervous about having a fried turkey, but it turned out really good. It was some of the best turkey I've ever had. All the girls went to see the movie "Twilight," I thought it was pretty good!

While we were there we had some family pics taken. Not exactly what I wanted to do being 33 weeks pregnant, but they turned out pretty cute and it's good to have an updated family picture.

I taught the girls how to make fizzy bath bombs one of the days we were there.

It snowed quite a bit while we were there. We were supposed to leave on Sunday to go home, but decided to stay an extra day because the weather was so bad. Josh's sister and her family left that day and took them almost 16 hrs to get home, which normally takes 8. I was so glad we decided to stay another day. There's no way I could've done that being this pregnant!

Baby shower

My wonderful mom and sister threw me a baby shower! They went to a lot of work and made everything so cute. We invited family and a few close family friends. The turnout was great, about 50 people came. I felt so loved that everyone would take time out of their Saturday and support me! I am 30 weeks now and getting so excited, especially now that we have some stuff for her! Josh was pretty excited when I came home to see everything that we got. It's so cute to see how excited he is for our baby to come...

Opening some gifts...

We had a few different soups, veggies, and yummy desserts. Thanks to all those who brought the food!

My mom is so crafty! She made these cake slices for a party favor. They were filled with pink, green, and brown candies(the baby's room colors). She's so creative! Thanks mom!!!!!

We had a good Halloween! We just had some friends come over for dinner and we made carmel apples and played UNO! We sure had lots of trick-or-treaters!!! Oh and I have to teach the lesson in Relief Society tomorrow! I am so nervous and really don't want to do it. I've felt sick about it all week. Hopefully it goes good!!!

I have been busy making crafts in my spare time for the baby's room! I made these few projects and I've also been making tons of bows for the baby! Josh thinks I'm crazy, but I just keep getting all these ideas and I can't stop. Her room is going to be brown, pink, and green! Sometime, when Josh gets a spare minute from his busy work schedule he is going to do batton board 1/2 way up the wall with a shelf on top in the baby's room! I will post some pics if and when we get it finished! I am 29 weeks now and still feeling good, just a bit tired! The baby moves around like crazy, it's so much fun to feel her!

26 Weeks

So I decided I should post something on my blog, since it's been forever. I am 26 weeks and feeling really good; only 3 months to go. We can't wait to have her here and see what she looks like. I have been starting to feel pretty tired, especially after the days I work. Being pregnant and doing hair is a lot harder on your body than I thought it would be. I come home absolutely exhausted, but at least I am only there 3 days a week, I wouldn't make it if I had to be there more! I feel bad for my poor husband, I keep him up at night because I can't get comfortable and I am constantly moving and pushing him over, I am so mean! My doctors say everything looks good so far, so hopefully it will stay that way!
I went with Josh on one of his Wyoming deer hunts. Me and the dog stayed back at the trailer while he went out and hiked. We rode the 4-wheeler around a bunch, but after about four hours my stomach was rock hard from all the bumps, so that was enough for me!

This picture was of an abandoned cabin that we found while 4-wheeling.

The only time Josh saw something big enough to shoot he had forgotten his release back at the trailer. He was pretty mad, but oh well!

21 weeks/ Ultrasound

This is a picture of her head and her hand just after she was sucking her thumb

I really don't like these pictures, but they show how big my belly is getting. Which I'm sure I'll look back at these pics and think my belly looks tiny once I'm farther along.Today we went for my 21 week doctors appointment which was also my ultrasound. We cheated and found out the sex at 16 weeks. We haven't really bought anything just in case it was wrong. But as soon as the doctor started she showed us that she was definitely a GIRL!!! She is very healthy and the doctor said everything looks really good. It's such a relief to hear that. She was moving all over and we caught a few shots of her sucking her thumb. We can't wait til she is here. I have been feeling her move so much now and I love it. Josh is bummed though because he can't quite feel her yet!
So far it's been a great pregnancy and hopefully it continues to stay that way!

CAMPING/ BOW HUNT

We had tons of fun going camping and on the bow hunt. We went up Fairview canyon and Jessica and her family came up and Francie( Josh's sisters). Josh had a deer and spike elk tag. We saw a 4 point and a 3 point but no bucks big enough to shoot, but we had fun going out and looking. Even though we had to get up at 5:30 in the morning. We rode our 4-wheeler and brought our trailer up. It was gorgeous up there. Josh wasn' too bummed to come home empty handed because he's got hunts until the end of November. So he will be very busy and Nicole will go out with him on a few of them. We had fun shooting our bows back at camp.

Jessica(Josh's sister) and her husband Justin shooting our bows at camp.

Josh cookin us some yummy breakfast on our new camp chef!

Josh just about burned his fingers on the fire. He wasn't being a very good example to his nephew, Cole.

Us girls stayed back at camp while the boys went out late one night fishing. We did glitter toes in the trailer and watched how to lose a guy in 10 days. We had fun and so did the boys!!!
We had a blast going to a sweet pond called potters pond. It was surrounded by pine trees. And the fishing was great. Justin brought up his canoe. That was fun to canoe around the pond.

Josh, Justin, and Cole going fishin in the canoe. They caught a few that day and a ton at night.
We were hiking right as the sun was going down. It was so pretty. We were about as high on top of the mountain as you could go. Nicole made it, but was pretty beat afterward. She definitely can't hike as good now that she's pregnant. There was no trail so we had to hike through the oak brush.

Our dog, Dixie found her some treats on the shore. She had a blast being in the water.

Nicole riding the 4-wheeler.

Nicole's Birthday/ Baby ultrasound

This was Nicole's 23rd birthday. It was such a fun day. They went to dinner with Nicole's family and had cake and presents afterwards. They also got to go to the mall and get an early ultrasound. Nicole's dad couldn't wait any longer. So he said that he'd pay if they would go early.
Josh and Nicole with their video ultrasound and some presents.
Nicole and her family in the room getting an ultrasound. The baby was moving all over. It wouldn't sit still for a second. For a while we couldn't find what the sex of the baby was. Stuff kept being in the way. But then finally we got two good pictures and.............
IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!!
The ultrasound pictures are kind of hard to tell, but it was pretty clear. The top picture it the full body and the bottom one is of the legs.
We were pretty shocked. We both totally thought it was going to be a boy, but we are very very excited! What a wonderful day it was.

We're Pregnant

We are so excited to be expecting our first child on January 17th. We couldn't believe the test was positive.
We will go to find out the sex of our baby on August 5th, my birthday. We can't wait to find out. Josh is really hoping for a boy. Nicole will be happy either way.
We made some cupcakes to tell our families that we were going to have a baby.
