September

We got to see Grandma Ludwig at her new care center. We thought she was going to die, because she wasn't eating and they took her off all meds, but she actually came around for a bit and we got to talk to her and laugh with her. I think she doesn't have much longer, but we're glad for the time we get with her.
There was a fun bird there and some fish and turtles.
 She even enjoyed a popsicle.
The kids performed on the stage for about 15 old people. The residents were loving watching the kids!

We made it to our annual swiss days this year. Melissa wasn't able to come this year though. We had fun shopping and of course enjoying some yummy swiss tacos.

I can't remember what these are called, but they are a swiss treat(a candy cane stuck into a lemon). We thought it'd be funny to watch Raegans sour face, but she loved it. Definitely my kid!!

After swiss days we went to my parents property and had some fun!

Out of order, but Bentley was pretty excited to meet sleeping beauty at the swiss days parade.

Cami and Bentley got soaked on their wheeler ride when it started pouring rain!

Bentley started her second year of preschool with Miss Jenny and she couldn't be happier. It's nice for me to have a break too!

She also started tumbling. She told me it was the most fun she'd ever had after her first class. I'm excited to watch her learn some tricks.

We found this gross spider outside by the tomatoes. We caught it in a jar and we've been watching it. It   made a huge web and laid some eggs. We feed her flies and she eats them in minutes. It's actually been pretty fun to watch!

For activity days we did an activity called having a plan. I gave the girls all the ingredients and told them to make some cookies. They were so confused that I didn't have a recipe, but made them anyway, they of course didn't turn out and so they tried again but this time with a recipe. They thought it was really fun!! I love these crazy girls.

Missy spent the weekend with us and we went to a neighborhood carnival. Once Bentley got over her shyness she had a lot of fun doing the games and turning her tickets in for fun prizes.
This mustache was one of her prizes. We had quite the laugh with this. Also notice her blue teeth from her candy.
Me and Missy went to the mall and when we came out it had rained so much that this is what the streets looked like. It was pretty crazy!

 Another mustache picture.

Raegan loves taking baths now that she can sit up and play!!

Crazy that it's been 10 years that I graduated! This picture was from my senior dinner dance with some friends. I wasn't able to go to the reunion.

Me and my sweet Raegan.

I spent the day doing corn with Jessica and Missy we did 32 dozen and split it up. Lots of work, but so worth it. Canned corn is just so not good after you've had the yummy frozen corn.

 Raegan and her cousin Brooke.

Action shot of Bentley in tumbling class.

While Josh has been away hunting I've been busy doing crafts and some canning.

Opening weekend of the Archery Elk hunt

Me and the girls along with my parents and Bryce went camping in Cedar City for Josh's Bull elk hunt. It was a fun weekend riding 4 wheelers, shooting our bows, going on hikes, and of course hunting! We were camped in a beautiful spot surrounded by pines. A few friends also camped with us this weekend.

Kelty made sure she didn't get left out.

Raegan was a good baby even though she had an ear infection!

It rained everyday we were there. Apparently this is monsoon season. We still managed to have fun though. My parents brought their easy up to put over the fire so we weren't stuck in the trailer the whole time.
Kelty made a buddy! Nobody in our family will let her do this.

My mom, Bryce, and Bentley went for a little ride.

We tried to watch a movie on the projector one night, but didn't get to watch much because it started to rain.

I had a spike elk tag this year and got to go out one night while my mom and Bryce watched the girls. We hiked in and sat down thinking it would be awhile before the elk would come in, but all the sudden 2 spikes started walking in right to us. I was not ready and we couldn't move, because they were onto us. We were behind a tiny tree, so I couldn't stand up or they would see us, so I had to take a 40 yard shot(which I was not ready for because I'd only practiced out to 30 yards) on my knees through trees. It was a very hard shot and I of course missed. The elk ran out and my dad started cow calling and brought them back, but we couldn't get them any closer than 60 yards. I didn't get an elk, but it was way fun to see them that close and have them calling back to the cow call.
While looking for my arrow Josh found this old elk carcass. You could tell it had been there awhile since it was all white.
My dad.

Enjoying the campfire.

While my mom watched the girls they made some popcorn!

Hanging out by the stream!

We went on a little hike to switch out one of the trail cameras!!

Josh didn't see anything he wanted to shoot this weekend, but he's got all month to find something.

August

 Park time!

We had fun having cousins sleep over and then shopping at the outlets!!

Bentley's last T-ball game. She was excited to get treats and her medal, but I think even more excited to be done!! Not her favorite, but I'm proud of her for finishing it out.

Raegan loves to empty her toy box and play with the bin!!

We love going on bike rides!!

Family dinner!!

Playing croquet!!

We celebrated my 28th birthday at my parents house. We had a yummy BBQ dinner and my favorite cake and enjoyed being outside.

My dad loves the babies!!
Cousin fun.... enjoying ice cream.
All the kids on my side. I love how Raegan's trying to get a taste of Bentley's ice cream.

I got some fun gifts. Spoiled by my families!! Bentley was excited about the nail polish she got me.

On Monday, my actual birthday my mom watched the kids while we went out to the lake and rode on a wave runner and they enjoyed dinner at tucanos!! What a fun day it was....

I let Bentley read books at night before bed and this was how I found her asleep one night!!

We've gotten many cucumbers from our garden this year, so we decided to make some pickles. Bentley can eat a whole jar in a day if I let her. I remember doing the same thing when I was little.

Just a little crash and burn on her bike!!

We found a snake by our house. Bentley actually ran it over on her bike and didn't know it was a snake till she did! The girls came running into the house to tell me. There were about 5 girls and we were all screaming and scared to catch it in the bucket and once it was finally in the bucket no one wanted to carry it to the hills since it was trying to get out! Thank goodness for the neighbor boy who took it away for us.
