This is going to be a long post, but I want to write down everything since my blog is our family journal and I print it each year. Some of these pictures are out of order. Not sure why!
I will do it in a couple posts....
My labor story: I started having labor pains around 4 am Sunday morning. I went all through the day having contractions. They were getting stronger and more painful, but still not consistent. They were every 5-10 min. I knew that I shouldn't go in until they were consistently at least 5 min apart. I thought for sure we would be going in that night, but I went all through the night in terrible pain. I couldn't sleep since my contractions were so strong, so I pretty much paced the floor all night long, while Josh slept soundly! I finally woke Josh up at 7am and told him we should go to the hospital even though my contractions still weren't consistent, but I was exhausted and I just wanted to get it over with! We got to the hospital they monitored and checked me. I was only dilated to a 4, so they had me walk the hospital for an hour to see if there was any progress. So Josh and I walked around the hospital and ran up the stairs(in between contractions)! The stares we got from people were pretty funny! After an hour I had progressed enough to be checked into a room. I planned on not having an epidural this time! They had to give me pitocin, because my body takes forever to dilate. The contractions became so strong, about 30 seconds to 1 minute apart. The nurse checked me and I was dilated to almost a 7. By this time I was exhausted from being in labor for 30+ hours now, so I asked for an epidural because I thought it would still be awhile! About 5 minutes after the epidural was in I felt intense pressure and pain. The nurse checked and said I was ready to have the baby. I asked for more epidural, because the pain was horrible. I still felt most everything, but I think it took the edge off to have the epidural in. I only pushed a couple times and she was out! I was in labor 36 hrs with Bentley, so it was pretty much the same this time. I guess my body just has a hard time dilating. My water didn't break until she was coming out!
After they removed the placenta I was hemorraging pretty bad. They almost had to give me a blood transfusion because I lost so much blood. My doctor figured out that a piece of my placenta was still in my uterus and so that's why I kept bleeding. They had to do a procedure to get it out(kind of like a DNC). They had to give me more epidural(good thing I got one in the first place, cause I would've had to get one anyway) and fentenal. It knocked me out, which was good. It took about 20 minutes to do the procedure! My stomach was so sore for the next week. I could hardly touch my stomach.
I delivered at Riverton hospital. It was a great experience. Great doctor and awesome nurses!
She was born at 4:35 PM on January 14th 2013.
She was quite blue when she first came out which freaked me out....
She weighed 7lbs 7oz and was 18 1/2 inches long.
She nursed right away and so good, which was complete opposite of the experience I had with Bentley!

First family picture!
Bentley was so excited to see her baby sister. Before the baby was born she kept telling me it was time to have the baby because my belly was big enough!!
We didn't choose her name until the 2nd day. We had a hard time deciding. We finally chose Raegan Shae to be her name and it's so perfect for her!
My sister Cami brought Bentley the 2nd day to see her sister.
Raegan's going home outfit!! Newborn clothes were huge on her!
All of our stuff to go home!!
She's so tiny in that seat!!
Ready to go home!!
This is right after Raegan was born. He's such a good dad!
My parents had Bentley while we were in the hospital. They came and brought Bentley. This was her first time seeing her sister! She couldn't be happier.
She pretty much came out sucking her thumb! She doesn't anymore. I've tried to replace it with a pacifier.
