Hunt of a lifetime!!

Josh is headed to Alaska for 2 weeks! It was hard to have him gone so long, but he had a blast! He went with 2 other guys looking for moose! They flew to Alaska and loaded up a small plane to get them to their spot. They got dropped off along with all their gear and food.

They had some crazy windy/rain storms, one of which demolished their tent! Good thing they had a back up! I couldn't believe the stuff he told me when he got home! They made a bridge with a ladder they found to cross a raging river because they wanted to hunt on the other side! It's a good thing I didn't know about that! I rarely got to talk to him because they only had a satellite phone. That was really hard for me!

They were all 3 successful at killing a bull moose! It had to be 50 inches or bigger! Rich even shot a bear! Josh had the time of his life and is anxious to go again! They had quite the stares at the airport with their moose antlers. And we are now enjoying a freezer full of moose meat!

Happy Birthday to Mom

31 feels pretty good! My mom made me this cute cake and like always I was so spoiled by my family and Josh! Strawberry shortcake is my favorite kind of cake.

August/ Back to School

Fresh new haircuts for these girls to get ready for school.
Another 1/2 marathon in the books for me! I did the hobble creek 1/2 and loved it and even got a new PR of 1:46. It was tough, but I'm so proud of myself! And I had some cute cheerleaders at the finish line too!

We took a little a little drive one afternoon to the Unintahs and we also found a fun little fishing spot. The kids loved it!

WE're trying to soak in the last few days of summer that we have! We love the Springville splash park.

First day of 2nd grad for Bentley

Working on the yard building trenches for a water line!

The joys of being the youngest boy with sisters, ha ha!

Stetson is already obsessed with going to the fire station to visit dad and see all the cool trucks. And we love when the car gets washed too!

And now it's Raegans turn to start school. Her first day of preschool with Miss Kristy. She was a little nervous, but did great as soon as I left.
