Camping trip

Over the 4th of July we went camping to the uintahs for a few days. It was so nice to have 60 degree weather. We camped right next to this little pond. We watched deer and moose come down each morning and night. It was beautiful.
Hanging out in the trailer waiting for the rain to stop!

 In her special camp chair.

She played in the dirt most of the time.
 Enjoying our yummy tinfoil dinners.
Comfy in her little sleeping bag.
 Catching some frogs!

Me and Bentley made some peach cobbler in the dutch oven.

We went fishing and caught tons of fish.

Summer fun

We've had a fun summer so far. We can't believe how hot it's been. Bentley loves being in any kind of water!

We went fishing to Silver Lake in AF canyon. We caught a lot of fish, mostly small ones. Bentley had a blast reeling in the fish and getting the fish in her net.

Catching butterflies with her fishing net.
Her 1st fish of the season!
Bentley loved to hold the fish!

Kelty  couldn't control herself and kept catching the fish that were on the stringer. They were still alive, so she wanted them so bad!
We have gone to the pool a few times. Bentley is a little fish!

This was Bentley's best friend Zeke's "camping" birthday party. They went on a rock hunt and then painted them.

This was a sleeping bag race to see who could get the most bugs out of the sleeping bag the fastest.

They caught some cute fish!

Bentley loves to play with her cousins!

Bentley's dance show

Bentley had her year end dance show in May. Their dance was to Little Mermaid. She did such a good job dancing, even though some of the time she did her own thing. We were so proud watching her dance up on that big stage.  She had so much fun and kept asking me, "when do I get to perform again?"
 At her Rehearsal.

 My best bud!
My mom and Cami came to watch and so did Papa and grandma Julie. She was so excited to have family there to watch her.

 Dancing on the stage!

Daddy had to get Bentley a flower, because she did so good!

Good job Ariel......

Moab

For our 6 year anniversary this year we took a fun trip to Moab with some friends. My sister Cami watched Bentley. It was so nice to have some time away together, since Josh has been working so much lately! We just got a new trailer, so it was really fun to take it out for the first time!
We hiked to the Corona arch so the boys could rappel off of it! It's about 160 ft. I was nervous watching them, but they had a blast!

 There goes Josh!

 Relaxing back at camp!
We biked the slick rock trail! The trail was 10.5 miles. I knew it would be hard and I was ready for that, but I didn't know it was going to be so scary. We did the 2 mile practice loop before, but the real trail was way scarier and we accidentally took the more difficult trail. We rode straight off some cliffs. It was straight down, straight up, not a whole lot of in between. I fell a few times and got some nice bruises, but once I let loose and let myself go fast I didn't get hurt again. Our friends turned around after the first 2 miles. I think I freaked them out when I flew off my bike! Once I got over how scary it was I really enjoyed it and had so much fun!!!!!
Having a little snack break in the shade.
The view up here was absolutely amazing!
Here are some of my battle wounds!
My entire calf was black and blue. This was the first day. The next day it looked way worse. Josh thought it was hot. "He's crazy!"
We found this cliff to rappel down! It was 175 ft tall. At first I said no way, but then I got talked into doing it! As long as I didn't look down I was okay! It was pretty fun, except for my legs were pretty tired from mountain biking all day.

There I go! Can't believe I did that!

This was a practice one we did!
We all couldn't believe how strong Josh was. He climbed back up after he rappelled down.

Our friends, The Barney's. Brett was getting the ropes ready to go!
The boys getting the trailer ready to go!
We had the perfect camp spot. Right in this little cove all by ourselves!
Vacations are the best!!!
